Information you provide
Elite Angler Academy LLC (EAA) receives information you choose to share with us, such as your name, email address, phone number, city, team or organization, and message. An enrollment inquiry may include information about a student angler’s experience, goals, or age that a parent or guardian provides. Please share only what is needed for your question; do not include payment-card details, medical records, or other sensitive information in website messages.
How we use information
We use information to respond to questions, discuss enrollment or team seminars, deliver requested resources, provide coaching-related services, review directory corrections, and protect the website against misuse. We may keep correspondence and submission records to support these activities.
Directory suggestions are used for review and follow-up. Submitting a correction does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Email and the Parent Guide
When you request the Parent Guide, we save your submission and add your name and email address to the Parent Guide group in Sender to deliver the guide by email. A download link is also provided on the website. Requesting the guide does not opt you into ongoing marketing emails.
Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop marketing emails by contacting matt@elite-angler.com. We may still respond to your inquiries or send messages needed for services you request.
Sender may process delivery, bounce, unsubscribe, and email-interaction information, including opens or link clicks where those features are enabled.
Team directory and location searches
Team listings are compiled from public team, school, organization, and social pages. Links lead to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices.
City and ZIP searches and distance calculations run in your browser. If you choose “Use your location,” your browser asks for permission. EAA does not send your search coordinates to its server or save them in its database.
For additions and corrections, we save your submitted name, email, suggestion, and any supporting link in a private review queue. Your submitter contact details are not displayed with the suggestion. Approved information about a team may be published in its directory listing. Please provide only team contact information that is appropriate to publish.
A daily-changing hash derived from your network address helps limit repeated submissions. Review decisions and changes may be retained for accuracy and accountability.
Website services and sharing
Providers that support website hosting, data storage, business email, and email delivery may process information needed to provide those services. This site is hosted through Sites; Sender delivers the Parent Guide and sends form-submission notifications to EAA.
Hosting and security services may process technical information such as network addresses, browser information, request times, and error records. EAA uses Google Analytics to understand page visits and successful form submissions. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes technical and usage information, such as pages visited, browser and device information, and interactions with the website. Our submission tracking identifies the type of form completed without sending the names, email addresses, phone numbers, or messages entered in that form. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in our website tag. You can manage cookies through your browser and learn about Google’s practices at Google’s Privacy Policy. Hosting or sign-in services may use cookies or similar technology necessary to operate and secure the site.
We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect safety, prevent fraud, or establish or defend legal rights. We do not publish private inquiry messages as testimonials.
Student anglers and children’s privacy
Parents and guardians should submit inquiries for children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit their own personal information through these forms. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information directly, contact us so we can review and address it, including deletion where appropriate.
Information a parent supplies about a student is used to discuss or provide the requested coaching. Photos and testimonials involve separate permission; submitting a form does not grant permission to publish a student’s photo or story.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, ongoing services, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations. Some records may need to be retained after a deletion request, and backup copies may remain until they are replaced through normal processes.
We limit access to private submissions and use safeguards appropriate to the services involved. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask what personal information EAA holds about you, request a correction or deletion, or change your communication preferences by emailing matt@elite-angler.com. We may need to verify your identity or your authority to act for a student before fulfilling a request.
We will review requests and respond consistent with applicable law and any recordkeeping obligations. Privacy rights vary by location. If you disagree with our response, reply and ask Matt to review the decision.
